Memmert Incubator IF110mplus, 108 l, +20 to +80 °C, TwinDISPLAY

The Memmert Incubator Im IF110mplus is a class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745. With 108 litres internal volume, it is in the middle of the mplus series, intended for warming irrigation and infusion solutions and contrast media. Two stainless steel grid shelves are fitted at the factory, and up to five can be inserted in total.

Two sensors with function takeover

Two Pt100 sensors of DIN class A monitor each other in 4-wire measurement, and in the event of a fault, the other takes over the function. The setting temperature range extends from +20 to +80 °C with 0.1 °C setting accuracy. Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two TFT colour graphic displays, and HeatBALANCE adjusts the heating power distribution between the upper and lower heating group in the range from -50 to +50 per cent.

Programming and time control

Via Ethernet or USB, programs can be created and transferred with AtmoCONTROL, and the program sequence remains stored in the event of a power failure. SetpointWAIT only starts the process time once the setpoint temperature has been reached, and three values can be freely calibrated.

AutoSAFETY and sterilisation

A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 to DIN 12880 interrupts the heating at about 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature. In addition, an adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can be activated on the display. AutoSAFETY automatically follows the setpoint at a freely selectable distance, raises a visual and audible alarm in the event of a deviation, and switches the heating off in the event of an overshoot. A permanently installed sterilisation program (4 h at 160 °C) is used for sterilising the interior and is not intended for sterilising the load.

Chamber, door and connection

The stainless steel interior is deep-drawn ribbed and heated all round, and a fully insulated stainless steel door with 2-point locking and an inner glass door close the chamber. The IF110mplus is connected with 230 V at approx. 1,400 W or with 115 V at approx. 900 W, each 50/60 Hz. Internally the cabinet measures 560 x 480 x 400 mm, externally 745 x 864 x 584 mm, the net weight is around 76 kg, and a total load of 175 kg is permitted at 20 kg per shelf.

On the SingleDISPLAY variant and the laboratory device

We carry the IF110m with SingleDISPLAY, one instead of two Pt100 sensors and without HeatBALANCE, also a class I medical device, but with a different intended purpose: warming and keeping warm of fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy. Without a medical intended purpose, technically also with TwinDISPLAY, the laboratory incubator IF110plus is available.

More or less volume

Those who need less volume but more shelves will find in the IF75mplus 74 litres and six instead of five shelves. More volume and more shelves are offered by the IF160mplus with 161 litres and up to eight shelves.
