Memmert Incubator IF450m, 449 l, +20 to +80 °C, SingleDISPLAY

From 449 litres of internal volume, the IF-m series changes its design: The Memmert Incubator Im IF450m stands mobile and lockable on castors, and the internal width increases to 1,040 mm. The intended purpose as a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 remains unchanged: heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy. Two stainless steel grid shelves are part of the scope of delivery, and up to eight shelves are possible.

Mobile housing on castors

Internally, the IF450m measures 1,040 x 720 x 600 mm and externally 1,224 x 1,247 x 784 mm, and the net weight is approx. 161 kg. The fully insulated stainless steel doors with 2-point locking sit in front of inner glass doors, and the deep-drawn, ribbed interior is heated all round on four sides. 30 kg per shelf is permitted, whereas it is 20 kg for the smaller sizes in the series. As with the IF260m, the permissible total load is 300 kg.

SingleDISPLAY control

Control is provided by the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY with adaptive PID microprocessor controller and TFT colour graphic display, with measurement via a Pt100 sensor of DIN class A using 4-wire technology and a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. The air turbine is electronically adjustable in 10 percent steps, and the countdown timer ranges from one minute to 99 days. SetpointWAIT only starts the process time once the set temperature has been reached, and three values can be calibrated.

Temperature limiter and diagnostics

A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 to DIN 12880 switches the heating off at approximately 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature, and an adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a self-diagnosis system run in addition.

Sister models IN450m and IF450mplus

The IN450m covers the same intended purpose in the same chamber size, but works with natural convection. The IF450mplus has the same chamber size but a different intended purpose, the tempering of irrigation and infusion solutions and contrast media, with a ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two displays.

One size smaller or larger

If 256 litres are enough, the non-mobile IF260m offers a narrower footprint. For the largest chamber in the series, the IF750m follows, with 749 litres and fourteen instead of eight shelves at the same permissible total load of 300 kg.
