Memmert Incubator IF750m, 749 l, +20 to +80 °C, SingleDISPLAY

With 749 litres, the Memmert Incubator Im IF750m forms the top end of the IF-m series. As with the IF450m, the housing stands mobile and lockable on castors, and the internal height increases from 720 to 1,200 mm compared with the IF450m. As a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, it is used for heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy, and up to fourteen shelves are possible.

Dimensions and loading

Internally, the cabinet measures 1,040 x 1,200 x 600 mm and externally 1,224 x 1,720 x 784 mm, and the net weight is approx. 217 kg. 30 kg per shelf is permitted, with a total load of 300 kg, and two grid shelves are included as standard. The fully insulated stainless steel doors with 2-point locking sit in front of inner glass doors, and the deep-drawn, ribbed interior is heated all round on four sides.

Operation via ControlCOCKPIT

The SingleDISPLAY model is controlled via an adaptive PID microprocessor controller with a TFT colour graphic display, a Pt100 sensor of DIN class A measures using 4-wire technology, and the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C. The digital countdown timer covers one minute to 99 days, with SetpointWAIT the process time only begins once the set temperature has been reached, and three temperature values can be calibrated. The data logger is read out via Ethernet using a time-limited AtmoCONTROL trial version.

Air circulation and safety

An air turbine that is electronically adjustable in 10 percent steps provides air circulation in the large chamber, and an exhaust air flap mixes in pre-heated fresh air. A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 to DIN 12880 switches the heating off at about 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature. In addition there are an adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a self-diagnosis system for fault finding.

Distinction within the product family

The IN750m covers the same intended purpose in the same chamber size with natural convection. The IF750mplus shares the 749 litres but has a different intended purpose, the tempering of irrigation and infusion solutions and contrast media, and a ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two displays.

More compact alternative

The IF750m is the largest chamber in the series, so moving up in size is not possible. If 449 litres and eight instead of fourteen shelves are enough, the IF450m is the lower alternative with the same footprint and an external height of 1,247 instead of 1,720 mm, and the permissible total load is also 300 kg.
