With 108 litres of interior, the Memmert universal oven UN110mplus sits between the UN75mplus and the UN160mplus in the UN-mplus series. As a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, it is used for the heating and keeping warm of fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy, and two stainless steel grid shelves are included as standard.
Dimensions, loading and connection
The interior measures 560 x 560 x 480 mm, and the housing is 864 mm high and 584 mm deep externally, plus 56 mm for the door handle, with a net weight of around 74 kg. Up to five shelves are possible, and the permissible total load is 175 kg at 20 kg per shelf. Connection is at 230 V with approx. 2,800 W or at 115 V with approx. 1,800 W.
Sensors and control
Temperature measurement is handled by two redundant Pt100 sensors of DIN class A with 4-wire measurement, and if one sensor fails, measurement continues via the remaining one. Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two TFT colour graphic displays, and the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C up to 99.9 °C setpoint temperature and 0.5 °C above that. With HeatBALANCE, the heating power distribution between the upper and lower heating group can be shifted by -50 to +50 %.
Safety and communication
A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 switches off the heating at around 20 °C above the maximum permissible cabinet temperature, and an adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can also be selected. AutoSAFETY monitors the setpoint at a freely selectable distance and triggers a visual and audible alarm if it is exceeded or not reached. Via the Ethernet interface or USB port, programs can be programmed, managed and transferred using the AtmoCONTROL software.
Distinction from the laboratory oven and the SingleDISPLAY version
The laboratory version without a medical intended purpose in the same size is the Memmert universal oven UN110plus with TwinDISPLAY. As a Class I medical device with one sensor and SingleDISPLAY, the UN110m is also available, and the intended purpose remains the same.
Selection guide: the right size
If 74 litres are sufficient, the UN75mplus with six shelves and a 120 kg total load is the smaller alternative. If more volume is needed, the Memmert universal oven UN160mplus offers 161 litres, eight shelves and a 210 kg total load.

As a Class I medical device, the UN110mplus is intended exclusively for the heating and keeping warm of fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy.
