Memmert universal oven UN750mplus, 749 l, +20 to +300 °C, TwinDISPLAY

With 749 litres, the Memmert universal oven UN750mplus is the largest model of the UN-mplus series and stands mobile and lockable on castors. As a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, it is used for heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy, and up to 14 shelves with a load of 30 kg each are possible.

Dimensions, weight and connection

The device measures 1,040 x 1,200 x 600 mm internally and 1,224 x 1,720 x 784 mm externally, plus 56 mm for the door handle. The net weight is around 217 kg, and the shipping carton weighs around 288 kg gross. The UN750mplus is connected at 400 V and 3 x 230 V without neutral conductor at approx. 7,000 W, 50/60 Hz.

Sensors and control

Two Pt100 sensors of DIN class A provide redundant protection for temperature measurement in 4-wire measurement, and if one fails, the remaining sensor automatically takes over the function of the other. Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two TFT colour graphic displays, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C up to 99.9 °C and 0.5 °C above that. HeatBALANCE redistributes the heating power between the upper and lower heating group by -50 to +50 %.

Safety and communication

At around 20 °C above the maximum permissible cabinet temperature, the mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 disconnects the heating, and an adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can additionally be selected on the display. AutoSAFETY follows the setpoint at a freely selectable distance and reports deviations optically and acoustically. Via Ethernet or USB, programmes can be managed and transferred with AtmoCONTROL, and the countdown timer ranges from 1 minute to 99 days.

Distinction from the laboratory oven and from the SingleDISPLAY version

We offer the same size without a medical intended purpose as the Memmert universal oven UN750plus with TwinDISPLAY. As a Class I medical device with SingleDISPLAY and one sensor, the UN750m is also available.

Choosing the right size

The UN750mplus forms the upper limit of the series, and there is no larger version. If 449 litres and eight shelves are sufficient, the UN450mplus with likewise 30 kg per shelf and a lower housing (1,247 instead of 1,720 mm in height) is the smaller choice.

As a Class I medical device, the UN750mplus is intended exclusively for heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy.
