With 1,060 litres of internal volume, the Memmert universal oven UF1060m is the largest model of the UF-m series, and its interior measures 1,040 x 1,200 x 850 mm. It is also a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and is intended exclusively for heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy, controlled via the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY.
The technology behind 1,060 litres and 60 kg per shelf
With a permissible load of up to 60 kg per shelf, the UF1060m carries considerably more than any other model of the series, with the total load still 300 kg distributed over up to 14 shelves. An electronically controllable air turbine and an exhaust air flap for preheated fresh air distribute the heat in the 1,060 litre interior. Like the two next smaller models, the UF1060m is connected at 400 V three-phase and 3 x 230 V without neutral conductor, at around 7,000 watts. The ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY handles temperature control between 20 and 300 °C with a setting accuracy of 0.1 or 0.5 °C, plus forced air circulation and programme run time. A DIN 12880 temperature limiter of protection class 1 and a self-diagnosis system safeguard operation.
Choosing within the UF-m series
The housing measures 1,224 x 1,720 x 1,035 mm, plus 56 mm in depth for the door handle, it stands mobile and lockable on castors, and the net weight is around 252 kg. Compared with the UF750m with the same external width and height, it offers 1,060 instead of 749 litres because the interior is 850 instead of 600 mm deep, and carries up to 60 instead of 30 kg per shelf. The sister model UF1060mplus is available for two redundant sensors and two displays. As a laboratory device without classification as a medical device, there is the Memmert universal oven UF1060.
