The Memmert universal oven UF110m has 108 litres of internal volume and sits in the UF-m series between the UF75m with 74 litres and the UF160m with 161 litres. As a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, the UF110m is also intended exclusively for the heating and keeping warm of fango, silicate and APS packs, controlled via the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY with one Pt100 sensor.
Control and safety of the UF110m in detail
The ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY is at the centre of operation: an adaptive PID microprocessor controller that controls temperature, forced air circulation speed, exhaust air flap position and program run time via a TFT colour graphic display, supplemented by a countdown timer from 1 minute to 99 days and SetpointWAIT for the delayed start of the process time. Heat distribution in the 108-litre interior is provided by an air turbine that is electronically controllable in 10 % steps. The setting temperature range extends from 20 to 300 °C with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C up to 99.9 °C and 0.5 °C from 100 °C, measured by a DIN class A Pt100 sensor. In the event of a power failure, the program run remains stored and can be read out via Ethernet with AtmoCONTROL. On the safety side, a DIN 12880 temperature limiter of protection class 1 complements the electronic monitoring, and a self-diagnosis system assists with troubleshooting.
Selection guide within the UF-m series
The housing is 864 mm high and 584 mm deep, plus 56 mm for the door handle, and the net weight is around 74 kg. The cabinet is transported upright, and at the installation site a distance of at least 15 cm from the wall and at least 5 cm at the sides must be observed. The interior of 560 x 560 x 480 mm holds up to 5 shelves, with a load capacity of 20 kg per shelf and 175 kg in total. One size smaller is the UF75m with 74 litres and up to 6 shelves, and one size larger is the UF160m with 161 litres and up to 8 shelves. For two redundant sensors and two displays, the sister model UF110mplus is available, and as a laboratory unit without classification as a medical device there is the Memmert universal oven UF110.
