High performance for professional cleaning: the Elmasonic P60H The Elmasonic P60H from Elma’s P-Series is a specialised professional ultrasonic cleaner designed to meet the most demanding requirements in laboratories, the medical sector and industrial manufacturing. With a tank capacity of 5.7 litres and unique multi-frequency technology, the P60H covers an extremely wide range of applications – from the rough cleaning of stubborn contaminants to the highly sensitive processing of micro-instruments. The digital control system and integrated heating make this device an indispensable partner for complex cleaning processes and sample preparation (e.g. degassing or homogenisation). Multi-frequency technology (37/80 kHz) for maximum flexibility The key advantage of the Elmasonic P-Series is its switchable ultrasonic frequency. Whilst 37 kHz is the ideal choice for standard cleaning and the removal of greases, oils or polishing pastes, the 80 kHz frequency offers extremely fine cavitation. This high frequency penetrates even the smallest capillaries and is so gentle that even the most delicate parts, such as watch components, micro-electronics or thin-walled glassware, can be cleaned safely. The digital frequency switching on the unit saves you time and eliminates the need for separate units for different cleaning stages. Smart functions: Pulse, Sweep and Degas The Elmasonic P60H features special operating modes that significantly enhance cleaning performance. Pulse mode increases the peak power of the ultrasound by up to 20 per cent, which accelerates the removal of extremely encrusted samples. The tried-and-tested Sweep function ensures uniform sound distribution throughout the tank via continuous frequency modulation, thereby preventing ‘dead zones’. The Degas function is available for preparing HPLC solvents or fresh cleaning fluids, efficiently removing dissolved gases in the shortest possible time. Ergonomics and durability in everyday laboratory use Elma prioritises the highest material quality: the ultrasonic bath is made of cavitation-resistant stainless steel, which extends the service life of the P60H even during intensive continuous operation. Operation is via a clear display that shows both target and actual values for temperature and cleaning time simultaneously. Additional safety is provided by the heater’s dry-run protection and an automatic safety shut-off after 12 hours. Thanks to the drain at the rear with a side-mounted rotary knob, the cleaning fluid can be drained cleanly and in a controlled manner without the need to move the unit. As the largest benchtop unit in Elma’s renowned P-Series, it offers a tank volume of 28 litres, providing ample space for bulky components, large glassware or the simultaneous processing of large sample quantities. The ‘P’ stands for ‘Professional’ – and that is exactly what this unit delivers: switchable multi-frequency technology, intelligent operating modes and a robust design engineered for continuous operation in research, medical technology and quality assurance. Multi-frequency technology: two devices in one The Elmasonic P300H’s technological USP is its dual-frequency control. At the touch of a button, you can switch between 37 kHz and 80 kHz. The 37 kHz frequency is the workhorse for standard cleaning: it generates powerful cavitation bubbles that effortlessly remove even the most stubborn contaminants – such as oils, greases or polishing pastes – from surfaces. Switch to 80 kHz and the cleaning process changes fundamentally. This high frequency generates tiny cavitation bubbles that penetrate deep into the finest capillaries, boreholes and complex geometries. This mode is also so gentle that even extremely delicate micro-instruments or electronic components can be cleaned safely and without damaging their surfaces. Maximum process control through Pulse, Sweep and Degas The Elmasonic P300H is far more than a conventional cleaning bath. It is a multifunctional tool for sample preparation. The integrated Pulse mode allows a brief increase in ultrasonic peak power to up to 1520 watts – ideal for treating extremely stubborn contaminants or poorly soluble samples. The Sweep function ensures an absolutely uniform distribution of ultrasonic energy throughout the entire 28-litre tank by means of continuous frequency modulation. ‘Dead zones’, where no cleaning takes place, are thus a thing of the past.
