The IKA T 50 digital ULTRA-TURRAX is a high-performance disperser designed for pilot plant applications and the production of small batches of up to 30 litres (H₂O). With a drive power of 1,100 watts, it bridges the gap between laboratory equipment and production machinery. Despite its high power output, the speed range of 600 to 10,000 rpm enables high peripheral speeds even with small rotor diameters, ensuring excellent dispersion results across a wide range of viscosities.

Performance and process reliability

Thanks to its electronic speed control, the T 50 digitally maintains a constant speed even as the viscosity of the medium increases (up to 5,000 mPas). This guarantees reproducible processes during emulsification, suspension or homogenisation. User and equipment safety are ensured by the integrated soft-start function, which prevents splashing, and the electronic overload protection, which switches off the motor in critical situations.

Flexibility in use

The T 50 digital is compatible with a wide range of dispersing tools from the S 50 series (not included). This allows it to be adapted to a wide variety of tasks – from simple mixing to the comminution of fibrous samples using cutting tools. The unit is securely mounted on Pilot stands (e.g. R 2722/2723) via a solid extension arm (16 mm diameter).
